Online Examination

This application is used for the first round Mathematics Olympiad, Challenge and Kangaroo competitions.

Learners may register, using the learner code provided by their school.
On the designated day, you can log in and complete the exam.
You will only be permitted one attempt
The grades 4 to 7 papers are presented in English and Afrikaans.
For grades 8, 9 and 10 the paper is presented in English and Afrikaans.
The practice exam are now closed and no longer available.
This is the live exam.
Do not begin your exam until your teacher gives the instruction to proceed.

The first round for the Mathematics Challenge will take place from 16 to 20 March 2026.

The Kangaroo online contest is currently open. Access is gained using the token provided by your invigilator
